Treasure County joins Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority as 20th county

The Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority is continuing efforts to bring rail service to southern Montana and just reached another milestone by adding another county to the group. Commissioners in Treasure County unanimously voted to join the group as the 20th county. The counties and three tribal nations spanning from the North Dakota border to Idaho now make up the group.

Six more counties are eligible to join. The BSPRA hopes that before the end of the year, most of not all of the remaining counties will decide to join. Read more.
